Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care.

This position requires coverage for weekends every other week.

Documentation will be completed using the Epic charting system.

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a Level II NICU setting.

Skills needed include arterial line management and central line care.

Candidates should be familiar with feeding techniques such as bottle, breast, and gavage.

Experience with neonatal abstinence syndrome and dosage calculations for neonates is essential.

The unit provides care to neonates in the 29-34 weeks and greater than 34 weeks gestational age.

Ventilator management skills including AC, PC, SIMV, CPAP, BIPAP, and PEEP are required.

The unit includes support from physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Neonates and infants are the primary patient age groups seen in this role.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary teams.
