Job description

Building Maintenance Position

The building maintenance personnel is responsible for the day-to-day plant maintenance and ensuring the inside and outside remains clean and orderly.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Cleaning duties around building and facilities.
  • Maintaining maintenance database system and scheduling work to be performed daily.
  • Ensuring the exterior of the building is clean and orderly.
  • Initiating the repair process of broken facility light fixtures, kitchen supplies, bicycles, etc.
  • Performing errands to include picking up local shop supplies.
  • Submitting requisitions for material needed for the maintenance task.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Performing all tasks in a manner that complies with Silver Wings Aerospace safety and employee policies.

  • Must wear steel or composite toed shoes.
  • Must be capable of using standard tools to include, but not limited to; screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets and sockets, and wrenches.
