About The Position

Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job

• At the direction of the CLIA License holder, evaluates the quality of laboratory services personnel, and equipment.Relates laboratory services to the medical staff and patients.

Assesses laboratory needs and utilization and explores sources and methods to meet that utilization.

Ensures compliance with all ELMC and Consortium wide policies.

Ensures compliance with all outside regulatory policies and agencies such as HIPAA, JC, CLIA, COLA, and OSHA.

Serves as the Administrator for the ELMC Harvest LIS and co-administrator of the consortium wide Copia LIS.

Maintains lab policy and procedure manuals.
