  • Assignment Type : Travel Nursing\n
  • Start Date : November 3, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 2, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 4x12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
  • Hours per Week : 48\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Float Requirement : Float to all areas of the Emergency Department : Triage, Behavioral Health, Trauma, Fast Track\n
  • Orientation : 16 hours\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680-$1800\n

    • \n\nER RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience\n
  • Previous travel nursing experience required\n
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program\n
  • Active and valid North Carolina RN license\n
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required (ACLS and PALS may be obtained within 6 months of hire)\n
  • CPR certification upon hire\n
  • NCI certification within 60 days of hire\n
  • NIHSS certification within 90 days of hire\n
  • Experience with Meditech charting system preferred\n
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)\n
  • Ability to provide nursing care for patients of all ages : neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics\n
  • No local travelers within 100 miles of the facility\n

    • \n\nEmergency Room Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver direct, high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department\n
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and data collection\n
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions\n
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes\n
  • Float to Triage, Behavioral Health, Trauma, and Fast Track areas as needed\n
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills : dysrhythmia interpretation, multisystem organ dysfunction management, central line care, IV sedation, vasopressors, CPAP / BiPAP, ABG interpretation, ventilator management, triage\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, support staff\n
  • Maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions\n
  • Accurately document all care and interventions in Meditech system\n
