Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery role in California requiring a current CA license and advanced certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
  • Night shift position, working 4x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • On-call duties are required as needed
  • No regular weekend requirement
  • Patient population includes mothers and newborns within a labor and delivery setting
  • Epic charting experience is preferred
  • RNs are responsible for comprehensive nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process
  • May supervise other nursing staff and clinical support associates
  • Return staff must be gone at least 1 year prior to returning as a traveler
  • Only one holiday requested off (RTO) will be approved
  • Modules required during orientation, completed online
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Local candidates are accepted at local rate

  • Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications (AHA required)
  • Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
  • Ability to start orientation modules as required
  • Must meet 50 mile travel radius requirement, unless local
