Neuro ICU RN Job Details

Location : Fort Myers, FL 33912 (Florida healthcare jobs)

Facility : Neuro ICU – GCMC-3N

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : January 2, 2026

End Date : April 4, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1850 - $1900

EMR System : Epic

Patient Ratio : 2 : 1

Scrubs : Galaxy Blue or White

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience with neuro ICU specialty required

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5+ years of RN experience

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Ability to float to other campuses, PCU units, and ED Hold as needed

Must provide all required documentation by the Monday prior to start date

Must live at least 50 miles from facility (radius rule)

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Neuro ICU setting

Float to other units and campuses as required, including PCU and ED Hold

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient management

Maintain a patient ratio of 2 : 1, ensuring patient safety and quality of care

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
