We are seeking skilled and motivated Carpenters and Laborers to join our dynamic team at Hunter & Hunter. Our ideal candidates will be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial projects, demonstrating craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :For Carpenters :Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, and other materials.Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements of the projects.Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools.Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, drywall, and other structures.Perform quality checks on work to ensure it meets project specifications and safety standards.Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects efficiently.Maintain tools and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.Follow all safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.For Laborers :Assist carpenters and other construction workers with various tasks.Load and unload building materials and tools.Clean and prepare job sites, ensuring safe and efficient work conditions.Dig trenches, erect scaffolding, and perform lifting and moving tasks as required.Follow instructions from supervisors and maintain effective communication with the team.Adhere to safety standards and regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.Qualifications :For Carpenters :Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship preferred.For Laborers :Previous experience in construction or manual labor preferred, but not required.Knowledge of basic carpentry tools and equipment is a plus.Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Benefits :Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Health insurance plan options.Continuous training and career development opportunities.A positive and supportive work environment.How to Apply :Interested candidates should submit their resume and a brief cover letter detailing their relevant experience.
