About The Position We are seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist for a 45-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois starting Dec 1, 2025. This position features approximately 15 on-call (pager) 24-hour shifts per month covering OB, general surgery, and select subspecialty cases, with shifts that may be grouped or PRN. Job Details Location : Illinois Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 LOA : 45 days Provider Type Needed : Anesthesiologist Schedule : On-call (pager), 24-hour OB and general call; approximately 15 shifts per month, grouped together or PRN Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia services for OB, general surgery, limited orthopedic, limited urology, plastic surgery, and GI cases Deliver high-quality perioperative care and pain management Respond to calls and manage emergent anesthesia needs as scheduled Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility protocols Additional Information Active Illinois license or active IMLC required (LOQ must be provided at time of name clear) Board certification in Anesthesiology required Experience required; new graduates considered Clean malpractice and background history required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
