Project Manager And Analytics Specialist
The City of Detroit Housing and Revitalization Department (HRD) is seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented, and results-driven individual to serve as the Project Manager and Analytics Specialists.
HRD and the Detroit Continuum of Care community partners recently developed a five-year Strategic System Improvement Plan that outlines community priorities for homelessness system, and the associated strategies needed to execute these goals. This position will serve a critical role in managing the implementation of the plan and ensuring it meets its stated goals and objectives. This role will also help set up and staff the Funders Council, a collective of funders of Detroit homelessness services that addresses identified challenges and gaps within the system and supports leveraging, scaling, and alignment of funding resources to support Plan implementation.
The Project Manager & Analytics Specialist is responsible for supporting initiatives established by the department / division leader. They possess knowledge of project development and the ability to manage a project or program from start to finish. They assist with the development and implementation of divisional goals and initiatives. The Project Manager & Analytics Specialist possesses expertise in data analysis and has the ability to work with advanced levels of data analytics. They drive change and process improvements within the customer base. The position of the Project Manager & Analytics Specialist is focused heavily on managing a wide range of projects involving data collection, production, and dissemination relating to strategy, planning, and organizational effectiveness efforts. This position reports to a department / division leader.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with major in data analytics, project management, business, management, organizational development, or a related field. Significantly advanced levels of responsibility and four to five (4-5) years of years of project management or data analytics experience. Preferred qualifications include experience coordinating multiple governmental agencies in the development, planning, and implementation of strategy, policy solutions, and programs aimed at addressing racial and social inequities. Expertise within the housing and homelessness ecosystem, including knowledge of key partners, funding streams, and primary drivers of homelessness, preferably in Detroit. History of effective cross-sector coalition and consensus building across diverse stakeholders including service providers, advocates, and funders. Lived experiences of homelessness, housing instability, and / or issues at the intersection of homelessness are deeply valued.
