Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PCU Float position in Ohio with required Epic experience and strong IV / telemetry skills.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool within a hospital
  • Possible floating to any stepdown or PCU unit, including other campuses such as Heart, Brain & Spine, and Dodd
  • Care for adult patients with an estimated 1 : 3-4 nurse to patient ratio
  • Day shifts (3x12 hours), 7 : 00 to 19 : 30
  • May be required to float to units of equal or lower acuity across different campuses
  • Care for a variety of acute adult patient populations in stepdown settings
  • No mandatory break required between assignments unless previously a Sterile Processing Tech
  • Professional attire in accordance with hospital dress code

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or stepdown experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with Epic EMR required
  • Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
