Locum Tenens Opportunity : Traumatic Brain Injury / General Medicine near Seattle, WA

We have a unique locum tenens opportunity near Seattle, WA , offering a rewarding position to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. Position Overview :

  • Profession : Physician
  • Specialty : Traumatic Brain Injury / General Medicine
  • Dates : ASAP - Ongoing
  • Shift Type : Days
  • Rate Type : Daily

Coverage Details :

  • Options for Coverage :

    • Travel and perform exams at a VES leased facility

  • Schedule Veterans within your own practice
  • Shift Options : Work days (4 hours) and / or full days (8 hours)
  • Exam Type : One-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + separation health assessments

    • Responsibilities :

  • Conduct interviews and physical assessments including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluation of traumatic brain injury
  • Perform a mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams
  • No prescribing or treatment required

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certification : Required in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • State License : Required in Washington
  • Certifications : DMA certification (CME credits available) must obtain if not already certified; client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or portal training
  • Equipment : Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
  • Required Skills : Use of Goniometer, familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio; proficient in METs testing, and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions

    • Additional Information :

  • Credentialing Timeframe : Quick credentialing & onboarding
  • Support : Normal nursing and tech support available at the facility
