Description :

Assess clients' physical capacities, developmental, and psychosocial functions using standardized and non-standardized assessment and measuring tools.

Plan, coordinate, and implement occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans for clients.

Determine appropriate therapy techniques and sequences.

Coordinate treatment plans with other programs for overall client benefit.

Provide consultation with clients, other healthcare professionals, and interested parties regarding client progress and treatment recommendations.

Participate in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures.

Contribute as an interdisciplinary team member.

Assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment.

Document evaluations, observations, and assessments of client performance.

Record treatment plans and revisions.

Requisition supplies and equipment.

Maintain records.

Stay informed of current knowledge relevant to occupational therapy through continued education and training.

Attend staff meetings.
