Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing)
• Providing guidance to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, seamless care
• Documenting accurately and thoroughly within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
