Specialization : Surgery Vascular

Job Summary :

Recruiting for a PRN vascular surgeon to provide coverage 3-4 days / month for our HCA employed collaborative team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Must be eligible and ability to be board certified in their specialty within the required timeframe
  • New Hampshire licensure or ability to obtain
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
  • Accepting local candidates that can commute to Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire

Desired Skillset :

  • Percutaneous and endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial diseases
  • Open and surgical bypass procedures for PAD
  • Endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm
  • Thoracic endovascular aortic aneurysm repair
  • Extra-cranial carotid disease
  • Venous procedures including VNUS closure procedures a plus
  • Proficient with wires and catheters

  • 24 / 7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program
  • Internal medicine, family medicine and psychiatry residency programs with Tufts University Affiliation
  • 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including 16 involuntary beds
