UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our family. As a Team Partner in the Production Department, you will be operating a wrap-ade machine to ensure production of quality product and meet product volume standards.
When working with UniFirst First Aid + Safety we provide a variety of shifts. Our standard is a 5-day work week, enjoy two days off a week.
We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

What you’ll be doing :
- Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with SOP (Statement of Purpose) requirements.
- Ensure lot information is accurate.
- Ensure MBR paperwork is completed daily.
- Keep paperwork organized, accurate and completed on time.
- Clean and maintain machine and suite.
- Adjust machine settings, as needed, to ensure high quality product,
- Transfer bulk to machine.
- Perform periodic and scheduled quality checks.
- Report machine issues, quality concerns, high spoilage and scrap rates to leadership.
- Follow leadership directions and tasks assigned.
- Provide support to production and the Quality Assurance Department, as needed.
- Perform Pack off production up to set standards.
- Perform other tasks assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for :
- High school education and / or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions provided by leadership.
- Knowledge of mechanics is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to stand throughout an 8 10-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
