Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a respected healthcare facility in Chicago, IL.

Details : 40 hours per week

13-week contract

4x10hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care as a circulating and scrub nurse during surgical procedures.

Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, adhering to all infection control standards.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Monitor patients conditions throughout procedures and communicate effectively with the surgical team.

Requirements :

Active RN license Required

BLS certification (AHA) Required

Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the OR Required

Level I Trauma experience Required

Strong scrub and circulate skills Required

Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery Required

Experience in Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart / Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology Preferred
