Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team at Miami Valley in Dayton, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
  • The team will consist of 2 Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Round and go model with call from home until evening
  • Pediatric nurse practitioner or Neonatal nurse practitioner present to round with Hospitalist

About the Opportunity

  • Work with Family medicine residents from Wright State University and participate in resident education
  • Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with a team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) : Participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices
  • Knowledge Exchange : Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers
