Position Summary
The Analytics Engineer, under the direction of the IT Senior Manager for Applications and Data, is responsible for delivering data-driven solutions to support the Facilities Management Division at the University of Georgia. Key duties include collaborating with stakeholders on data-related projects, maintaining dashboards and data models, managing data sources, and partnering with IT leadership to establish effective data governance protocols. This individual will lead analytics initiatives that provide actionable insights for informed decision-making and process improvement. The position requires substantial hands-on involvement to lay the groundwork for a strategic data approach, with the long-term objective of developing a comprehensive data team.
