Job Description *Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant to join its Medical Imaging Department. Candidates for this role would work Monday - Friday, Days @ Highland Hospital.

The Imaging Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing competent medical care in accordance with the professional scope of practice and current New York State Regulatory/Clinical Practice Statutes. The Imaging APP is expected to become proficient in the full scope of Imaging applications to problem solve diagnostic challenges affecting a variety of body systems that is commensurate with both training and experience. Expectations include proficiency in preparing various Imaging studies for interpretation under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Radiologist. The APP collaborates with all members of the Imaging Sciences' team in the promotion and provision of our common goals. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
Salary Range: $98,000.00 - $130,083.20 annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements- Education - Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed Physician Assistant in New York State.
- Experience - 1-3 years of clinical experience required. Imaging/Radiology experience preferred but not required.
- License/Certification Required - Licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State. Current Radiology Tech license of eligibility preferred but not required.
- Skills - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Effective teaching skills. Proficient, efficient and safe independent clinical practice capability. Competent computer skills (MS Office software, keyboarding).
