Must Haves :
- 2–5 years of experience supporting project teams in industrial or construction environments.
- Strong understanding of design / build project environments and facility / equipment integration
- Exposure to industrial mechanical or electrical systems
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of site safety policies and ability to incorporate them into designs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint / OneDrive.
- Procore or CAD software experience preferred

The Project Engineer is responsible for the technical design and engineering of assigned projects, ensuring facility and equipment systems are fully defined, coordinated, and buildable. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with Project Executives and Project Managers, the Project Engineer takes ownership of design deliverables, integrates SME input, and supports project teams throughout execution. This role requires strong mechanical engineering and design / build aptitude, with the ability to translate concepts into practical solutions, ensuring facilities are designed to meet client specifications, budget, and schedule.
Essential Functions
Own the technical design of assigned projects, from detailed design through delivery.Work with SMEs to develop and validate engineering solutions for complex facility and equipment challenges.Produce, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.Support the project team by delivering accurate, timely engineering inputs for budgets, schedules, and procurement.Ensure design packages are aligned with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Participate in client meetings and presentations, representing The Client professionally.Support subcontractor coordination and design clarification during construction and commissioning.Travel to project sites as required to support installation, commissioning, and field problem-solving.Provide continuous feedback and lessons learned into the design process for future improvement.Please reply back with an updated resume if you or someone else you know is interested.
