Travel CT Tech - $2,211 per week in Carmel, IN

Job Title : CT Technologist Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : CT Tech Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day or Night Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience required License : Must have IN State License in hand Certifications : BLS, ARRT Must-Have : - Siemens, Carestream Portable, Philips experience - Must be able to perform general X-ray - Multi-modality CT / XR Technologist - Comfortable working alone at times Description : Shift includes Thursday 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Friday from 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM, and Saturday from 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM. Call and holiday shifts are required. Up to 4-5 call shifts per month. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend work is required. On-call responsibilities involve one weekend a month and 1-2 weekdays a month. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Required to have ability to perform abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, lumbar and pelvis scans, among others. Experience with pediatric and adult patients is preferred. Unit operates 2 CT scanners and portable X-ray equipment. Personnel will be expected to handle both inpatient and outpatient cases, including stroke assessments. Work involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care. The environment involves working with various diagnostic imaging technologies and requires flexibility in scheduling. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care. Floating between similar units is not required. Locals are accepted; however, applicants must hold a valid IN State License as a prerequisite.
