Position Vacancy Announcement
Florida A&M University's Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Coordinator, Adminstrative Services vacancy.
Responsibilities
Provides front desk support with service excellence and assists students, faculty, staff and administrators; Directs phone calls to the appropriate staff members or departments and annotate messages as needed; Coordinates direct and indirect communication, as well as dissemination; Receives, routes, and responds to telephone calls, and faxes; Sort, logs and distributes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail; Maintains a comprehensive and confidential electronic filing system for project documentation, budget, reports, student records, correspondence; Establish and maintain both paper and computer based files; Prepares forms and materials for office functions : purchase requisitions, invoices, travel arrangement, travel authorizations, and expense reports, work orders, etc; Produce photocopies; Minor maintenance of copier; and maintain office inventory of project and general office supplies.
Maintain inventory of departmental forms and publications; Schedule and maintain conference meeting room; Provide oversight and assistance to student workers; Provide back-up support for other departments within the Division of Student Affairs; Assists with review, processing and follow-up of budget, requisitions and position descriptions; Maintains division-wide organizational charts and directories; and performs other duties as deemed appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years experience; or master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Recommended Competencies
Ability to learn and work with University's PeopleSoft modules; and,
Willingness to work during special events and programs.
Pay Plan
This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.
