Digital Gift Officer
The Digital Gift Officer (DGO) plays an essential role in Loyola University Maryland's Advancement team by leveraging digital platforms and tools to engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. This position focuses on building relationships with a diverse portfolio of prospects, primarily through digital communications, to increase philanthropic support for the University. The DGO will operate with a digital-first mentality of donor engagement. The DGO will utilize email, social media, video, and text to engage and solicit donors. This role manages several hundred donors, with a goal to generate new prospect visits via videoconference each month. The DGO will create and implement digital engagement plans and use technology to deliver quick content on the correct channels.
The DGO will :
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
Education Required : Bachelor's degree
Work Experience : 1 - 3 years of related work experience.
Describe Required Experience : Minimum of one year of experience in digital fundraising, marketing, or related field required. Proven track record of successful digital fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools, including social medial, email marketing, and CRM systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights; strong organizational and project management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to support the mission and values of a Catholic Jesuit education, as well as University goals for institutional diversity.
