Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technician with at least 1 year of hospital experience and current BLS and ARDMS credentials for a 13-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient hospital setting in the ultrasound department
  • Scheduled shifts are 12 : 30 PM to 9 : 00 PM
  • Call coverage required based on department needs, including variable weekday, weekend (third shift 9 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM), and rotating holiday shifts
  • Must be willing to float onsite within skill set or to locations within 40 miles if needed
  • Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
  • Call requirements may include third shift and half-day coverage as needed
  • Weekend and holiday shifts rotate with staff
  • Possible floating to other sites within 40 miles as required
  • Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital setting
  • Current BLS certification from AHA required
  • ARDMS required
  • License required if applicable; primary source license verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
  • All candidates must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
