SUMMARY :
Seeking a driven, meticulous and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join front-office team of project managers and business analysts to support delivery of a range of high-priority and high-visibility projects, working side-by-side with our development partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring client's products meet the highest standards by identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality throughout the SDLC.
This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering reliable, user-friendly products which meet the business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop manual test plans and test cases, as well as automated test scripts to evaluate product quality
- Conduct functional and regression testing.
- Coordinate / conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in conjunction with Business Stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT, Project Managers, and Business Stakeholders to fully understand requirements and specifications from a testability perspective.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports , including documenting issues encountered in the testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, with clear and actionable feedback.
- Track and manage defects using Jira , ensuring that all issues are properly remediated, and appropriately regression tested prior to production release.
- Participate in regular project meetings, providing feedback on testing timelines and priorities.
- Develop automated test suites with Selenium and potentially other automation tools to increase repeatability and efficiency.
- Remain up to date on testing tools, best practices, and industry trends for continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict adherence to established QA standards and methodologies throughout the entire development lifecycle.
EXPERIENCE :
BA degree preferredMinimum 5 years experience performing the kinds of Quality Assurance work described aboveStrong analytical and quantitative skillsStrong knowledge of advanced Excel and SQL a plusExperience with Automated Testing and tools such as Selenium, Eclipse, MavenSuperior oral & written communication skillsAbility to plan, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with limited supervisionStrong drive, initiative, and motivation to excel; accuracy and attention to details in work productExperience supporting the implementation of technology systems or change management initiativesEnthusiasm for working in a diverse, multi-cultural environmentMust be available to work on-site in the Manhattan office.Open office floor plan promotes a collaborative team environment.
