Job description

Target Fulfillment Expert

The starting hourly rate is $17.75 USD per hour. The pay range is $17.75 USD - $26.65 USD per hour. Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. The fulfillment team picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely, efficiently and effectively to deliver convenience and quality for our guests.

The role of a Fulfillment Expert can provide you with experience in a dynamic work environment where your daily work will change based on guest ordering patterns. Skills to assess your daily business and utilize tools to determine how to meet digital demand. Knowledge of reporting systems that show how digital guest traffic patterns are changing throughout the day and be adaptable to guest demand. Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement.

A typical day will most likely include : being knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience; creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks; engaging with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs; selecting items for order pickup, drive up and ship to home for digital guest orders; accurately putting on hold all order pickup and drive-up orders; properly preparing, packing and sorting guest orders for shipment using correct materials; delivering quality and accuracy with each order while meeting timeliness goals; maintaining your workspace and supplies; properly using equipment while following safety best practices; following all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness and quality standards; following food safety guidelines when handling, displaying and / or storing food items; demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; working in a safe manner at all times; complying with all safety policies, best practices, and training; reporting hazards and correcting where possible; supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintaining a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws; and all other duties based on business needs.
