POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Director of Child Care is responsible for supporting the Director of Child Care in the daily operations of the Steamboat Child Care Center, a year-round center serving SSRC employees and their families. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, with a specific focus on infant and toddler classrooms.

Key responsibilities include respectfully training and mentoring staff, supporting, and onboarding new families, managing enrollment and intake processes (especially for new infants), and maintaining compliance with all state licensing regulations and internal policies. The Assistant Director also serves as a role model for professionalism and Service Excellence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and / or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives.

Steamboat area base salary range : $60,000 - $70,000 per year
