Job descriptionAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects. Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis. Ability to work with limited direction and supervision while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence. Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position. Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen position. Ability to read interpret and follow verbal and written instructions work procedures and other related materials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills. Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed. Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word Excel Outlook and Windows based databases. Must be able to lift and move materials weighing between 30 and 75 pounds. Must be able to use hands for a variety of repetitive material handling tasks about 90% of an 8-hour shift constantly. Kneel and squat to do work on an occasional basis. Must be able to constantly stand for up to 8 hours. Must be able to climb two flights of stairs (about 23 steps) on a frequent basis. Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls tools or equipment. May require the ability to use a keyboard and other office equipment. May require specific vision abilities that include close vision. May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time. May be required to lift carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight. May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours. Associate degree in Graphic Arts or a related field and four years experience in print operations or a related function OR High School Diploma or GED and six years experience in print operations or a related function.

Job Summary :
As a Supervisor Press Operations you will manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Press Operations to process jobs quickly efficiently and economically through the pressroom.
Essential Functions :
- Schedule department workflow to achieve the manufacturing goals of the company.
- Manage staff to meet schedule requirements.
- Manage departmental processes as they impact the Key Business Indicators.
- Coach train and motivate all team members.
- Addressissues with the assistance of the operators through the investigation of problem cause and resolution.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Walsworth policies and applicable laws.
