Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Charleston, SC (29425) – South Carolina nursing jobs Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,420 - $1,530 per week Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Healthcare Setting : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Unit : Medical / Surgical Float Pool (Main Hospital & Ashley River Tower) Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 30), 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Rotation : Required Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Scrub Color : Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms Charting System : EPIC Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Medical / Surgical RN experience Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact RN License (pending considered with proof of application) BLS certification required Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 6 preferred Ability to float to various Med / Surg units as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) First-time travel nurses accepted Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients across multiple Medical / Surgical units Float between Med / Surg floors at the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IVs Respond to rapid response / code teams as needed Implement isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Document patient care using EPIC electronic charting system Participate in holiday and weekend rotations Why Choose Charleston for Your Travel Nursing Job?
