Job Description

Advance your scientific career in Indianapolis , a thriving center for pharmaceutical and biotech innovation. We’re seeking a Metrologist Group Leader to oversee equipment maintenance, qualification, and team development in a GMP-regulated lab environment. This is a full-time leadership role with relocation assistance provided to support your move.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead equipment maintenance and qualification activities across lab operations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as a subject matter expert on lab instrumentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and global quality groups
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance lab efficiency
  • Supervise and mentor team members, manage workflow, and conduct performance reviews
  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards and maintain accurate documentation

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics)
  • 4+ years of lab experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with CMMS systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership abilities
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
  • Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis – relocation support is available

  • Position is full-time, 8 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm Overtime as needed.
  • Position is located in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
