ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details :

Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

Weekend coverage required

Patient ratio of 1 : 4-5 for days, nights, and weekends

24 hours of orientation provided

1 year of nursing experience required

First-time travelers accepted

Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina at time of submission - no pending licenses accepted

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Epic charting system experience preferred

Skills required include cardiac telemetry, CVA management, CPAP / BIPAP operation, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management and titration, vasoactive drip titration, and insulin drip titration

Care for adult and geriatric patients with critical care stepdown needs, neuro / stroke patients, cardiac patients with planned interventions, and telemetry monitoring

May be required to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby

50-mile radius rule applies for local candidates

2 supervisory references required

Copy of certifications required

Keep requested time off to minimum, especially in first two weeks

Former permanent staff must be gone for 5 years before eligible to return as traveler
