Description :
This entry-level position works under supervision to achieve initial competencies in delivering specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to patient populations.
The role aids the medical staff in diagnosing, caring for, treating, and monitoring a range of conditions.
The position involves providing safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various settings.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and correlating clinical history with physician orders.
Communication and collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team are essential.
The Technologist utilizes specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Post-procedure reviews are conducted to ensure proper documentation and technical quality adhere to established protocols.
Images and data are transferred to archival systems for reporting purposes.
Operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance tasks are performed per guidelines.
Continuous education and professional development activities are encouraged to maintain competencies.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
