Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,496 per week in Houston, TX

The team consists of nine staff members, including RNs and Cath Lab Techs. During the day shift, there is one supervisor, four RNs, and two Cath Lab Techs on staff. Night shift staff consists of on-call personnel, including two RNs and one Cath Lab Tech or one RN and two Cath Lab Techs. The patient ratio is three team members for each patient procedure. Equipment used includes Phillips and Siemens Fluoroscopy equipment. The electronic medical record system utilizes MERGE Hemo for Cath Lab documentation and Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include : Left and right heart catheterizations. Pacemaker, ICD, Watchman procedures, and IR procedures. Vascular procedures and electrophysiology ablations. The ideal candidate will be a team player and flexible in their approach. Electrophysiology experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with procedural guidelines, universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation is expected. The schedule includes working one full weekend and two weekdays for a total of ten shifts per four-week period. No additional comments or requirements.
