The primary responsibility of the Oncology Nurse Navigator is to efficiently facilitate the patient and family's navigation throughout the healthcare system. This involves delivering disease-specific education, facilitating referral navigation, disseminating knowledge regarding available treatment options, accelerating patient access to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, connecting patients with pertinent resources, offering continuous support to both patients and their families, and addressing barriers of care.

This position provides services throughout all phases of the care continuum, including prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

• Education : BSN degree or higher from an accredited nursing program
• Certification : Current RN licensure and certification as an oncology nurse navigator
• Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team-based approach, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
