Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join our Performance Group (PG) team. The Co-op program offers hands-on, real-world experience in the consulting engineering industry, with opportunities to learn our business, gain exposure to various projects and industry sectors, and enhance your engineering skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Site visits to gather field information as required
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Develop and update Excel spreadsheets for document preparation
  • Participate in company meetings, providing analysis, input, and recommendations
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules
  • Report writing
  • Develop a schedule to manage workload across assigned activities to achieve deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar area of study
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer technology, including MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and workload demands

    Compensation : $23.00 per hour. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual qualifications, experience, work location, and education. This position will earn ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time) in accordance with state and local law.
