UPMC is looking for a Casual Medical Assistant to join their Magee Women's Specialty Services team in Erie, PA! This position does require blood draws, injections, fetal NST, rooming, chaperoning, pre-charting, and chart prepping. Lab training is available upon hire.

This office works with the women's population from gynecology, pregnancy, and through menopause in addition to many other women's health topics. This position will provide staffing support at the following locations, so you must be willing to work regularly at multiple locations :

• 16039 Conneaut Lake Road, Suite 106, Meadville, PA 16335
• 2060 N Pearl St, Northeast, PA 16428 Hours for this position will be weekdays, primarily daylight hours. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required! This position will be responsible for back office and front office duties. Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred! Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the Medical Assistant Career Ladder, based on their individual experience and education.

Responsibilities :

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances : CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
