The ideal candidate must have a background in tele cardiovascular care. Candidates should possess skills in cardiovascular management. The unit accommodates 34 beds with approximately 60 staff members. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 7-9 nurses. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4. Typical equipment used includes telemetry units, bedside monitors, and defibrillators. The electronic medical record system is Epic. Common procedures performed in this unit include TEE and cardioversion. Successful candidates should demonstrate teamwork and possess an easy-going personality. Floating to ICU and COVID units may be required. The dress code for this position includes Caribbean blue scrubs. Weekend shifts will be part of the schedule.
