Job description

Transaction Specialist

As a CBRE Transaction Specialist you will provide broad tactical and operational support, i.e. KPI monitoring, and document processing, to a team of transaction management professionals. Remote position. Central and Eastern time zones preferred. This position is part of the Brokerage job family. Brokers are responsible for the buying, selling, and leasing of office, industrial, retail and other commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation.

What You'll Do :

  • Verify the process document against the legal contract. Enter all sales and lease information into the company database based on guidelines and procedures.
  • Obtain the appropriate signatures and approvals and transfer all financial information for further processing.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc reporting from CBRE's revenue accounting system.
  • Assist with basic reconciliations on standard business processes.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
  • Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.
  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.

What You'll Need :

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2-4 years of job-related experience. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and / or complex content in a concise and logical way.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Sheets, Drive, Notes, etc.
  • Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
