PHOTOGRAPHER Job at NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Great Lakes

Overview

Photographer position involving taking still photographs using varied types of photographic equipment. Assignments involve photographing portrait, event, glamour, and advertising pictures both in the studio and on location.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and takes portraits and / or photographs using medium and small format and polaroid cameras.
• Poses individuals or groups so that proper balance and symmetry are attained.
• Ensures that background and lighting are adjusted properly.
• Schedules and takes pictures of weddings and special events including but not limited to grand-opening, annual Christmas parties and retirements.
• Maintains photographic supplies and equipment in good repair. Assumes responsibility for security of equipment.
• Travels to assigned locations for photographic sales promotions during a limited period of time.
• Actively pursues clients for the NEX photo department. Works toward achieving designated monthly sales and net profit targets.
• Operates a motor vehicle van to carry supplies, equipment and props in the performance of assignments.
• May supervise subordinates.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
