Pay Rate : $14.13 per hour

REQUIRED SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday (4 : 45pm - 8 : 00pm); Saturday - Sunday (8 : 15am - 12 : 30pm)

OF DUTIES :

The Kids Corner Assistant is a part-time position responsible for providing a safe and fun environment in which both children and parents feel comfortable. An employee in this position supervises children in a childcare setting at the Summit on the Park.

EXAMPLES OF WORK : (Note : These examples are intended merely as illustrations of the various types of work performed.)

• Responsible for creating an inviting friendly and comfortable atmosphere for children from three months to eleven years of age.
• Ensures a safe environment for all participants and visitors.
• Promotes Leisure Services Core Values and provides excellent customer service including but not limited to greeting and interacting with participants and families in a positive and friendly manner.
• Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of the check-in / check-out form.
• Leads children of various ages up to eleven years of age in games and other group activities.
• Enforces all childcare policies as well as general building policies.
• Sterilizes and cleans all toys and materials at the end of each day.
• Attends staff meetings as scheduled and assigned.
• Performs other assigned duties as required.
