Job Summary And Qualifications Terre Haute Regional Hospital (THRH) is seeking a self-motivated and compassionate RN who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to join our awesome Operating Room Team. BSN and surgical experience preferred. We have 9 OR-Suites and perform procedures for Traumas, Orthopedics, Neuro, Urological, ENT, OB-GYN, Open Heart, GI, Thoracic, Oncology, Ophthalmic, Vascular and General Surgery including some these using daVinci Robot (SI). Our close-knit OR Team values teamwork and compassion across the spectrum of care, join us today! You will provide pre and post- surgical care of patients who will have (or have had) general anesthesia, epidural / spinal anesthesia and IV sedation. As a member of the Operating Room / Surgical team, you will perform monitor all patients for airway and pain management, interpret EKG changes, lab values and hemodynamic monitoring. Some other key job duties include providing care to patients receiving high-risk intravenous therapies and blood components, perform and monitor conscious sedation and propose plan of care for post procedure patients. You will also be providing support for new staff and students through mentoring and orientation. Requirements Current RN license in the state of Indiana Current American Heart Association BLS provider Must be ACLS certified within nine months of employment Acquired knowledge and skills to give age-appropriate care in the surgical patient care settings BSN preferred Terre Haute Regional Hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1882.
