About the Opportunity
A growing multi-location services organization is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to oversee all HR functions. The position is ideal for a professional who enjoys working independently, partnering directly with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for all locations and employees across the organization.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including posting roles, resume review, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating offers, and supporting new hire onboarding.
- Process payroll for the organization; experience with Paycom is helpful but not required.
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.
- Handle employee relations matters, basic investigations, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Update HR records, create reports, and oversee personnel files.
- Assist with training coordination, employee communications, and HR projects.
- Partner directly with senior leaders and provide guidance on HR procedures and best practices.
- Travel once per quarter.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.Experience supporting multiple locations or functioning as a one-person HR department preferred.Payroll processing experience required (any system acceptable).Bachelor’s degree preferred; HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.Strong communication, organization, and technical skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and balance multiple priorities.Professional, reliable, and comfortable partnering with executive leadership.
