Speech Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a school setting and possess a strong understanding of pediatric speech therapy practices. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention strategies to support their development.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in pediatric patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to families regarding speech development and therapy techniques.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy, particularly in pediatrics.
• Requirements
• Proven experience in speech therapy, particularly within a school environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques related to speech disorders.
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with communication challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care.
