The purpose of this role is to develop, implement and manage CBRE Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs in accordance with jurisdictional, company and client requirements relative to the Property Management Americas region.
Support delivery of the Global Property Management HSE strategy and work with platform leadership to deliver the company HSE program requirements.
Set the HSE Strategy for the Americas, including regional aims, objectives, and targets.
Oversee implementation and operation of the PM HSE Management System in line with relevant jurisdictional, CBRE, client and other requirements.
Lead a team of HSE Professionals and champions with direct line management responsibilities.
Complete Risk Profiles for Property Management (Americas) and communicate across the organization.
Develop and maintain the regional training strategy to achieve the necessary HSE competency standards.
Deliver a regional Audit Program to monitor HSE performance against management system requirements, aims, objectives and targets (including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 where applicable.)
Support operational teams with accident and incident management, including leading investigation processes, identification of root causes, implementation of corrective actions and sharing of lessons learned.
Run the implementation of relevant HSE related technology applications and solutions, including change management, training, and reporting processes where applicable.
Undertake HSE Contract Reviews (i.e. service agreements, management agreements etc) as required.
Produce and present high-level reports detailing HSE performance at regional and market level, for analysis by leadership and operational teams.
Engage proactively with relevant regional collaborators (internal and external) regarding jurisdictional, CBRE and client HSE requirements.
Subject Matter Expert to provide direct timely counsel, information, and feedback to the Americas Property Management leadership in matters pertaining to HSE, compliance, trends, performance, and concerns.
Effectively collaborate with other HSE leaders across CBRE, to share standard process and drive common initiatives and programs as appropriate.
Lead and oversee interactions with professional HSE groups and community advisory panels. Collaborates with shareholders including legal and leadership to handle national, state, or local regulatory inquiries (OSHA or otherwise.)

Bachelor's Degree required with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Professional certification in HSE (e.g. CSP, CIH, CHMM, CRSP, CMIOSH, MIEMA, CEnv etc.)
Experience of operating in regional roles across the Americas preferable.
Experience working in property industry preferable.
Experience of working with HSE Management Systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 45003) preferable.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for theHSE Director, Americasis $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for theHSE Director, Americasis $195,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits : 401k, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance.

The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.
