Principal SAP EWM Consultant

Infosys Technologies Ltd is seeking a Principal SAP EWM Consultant to contribute across the consulting lifecycle, from business process consulting through solution design, development, configuration, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

This position requires an expert who will intensely engage in business process consulting; define problems, propose solutions, and create implementation plans. The consultant will play a key role in development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution, guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, internal capability building, and project scope definition. The role involves shaping value-adding consulting solutions that help clients meet evolving global needs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.

At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.

Location : Foster City, CA. The role may require travel to project or client locations.

Authorized to work in the United States without needing employer-based visa sponsorship. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 8 years of SAP EWM experience, with a minimum of two full-cycle implementations in healthcare or life sciences.

Deep understanding of warehouse operations in regulated environments.

Experience with SAP S / 4HANA embedded EWM and decentralized EWM.

Strong knowledge of batch management, shelf-life expiration, and hazardous materials handling.

Familiarity with SAP ATTP, SAP GBT, and integration with MES systems.

Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.

High initiative, flexibility, customer orientation, and quality awareness.

Experience designing warehouse processes that support temperature-sensitive goods, batch management, and lot traceability.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and DSCSA.

Ability to integrate EWM with SAP ATTP, SAP QM, SAP TM, and support serialization, UDI, and cold-chain logistics processes.

Lead blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment of EWM functionalities and collaborate with quality, compliance, and IT security teams for validated system delivery.

Provide guidance on best practices for warehouse automation and robotics integration.
