Job description

Onsite Data Center Cabling Project Tech

Shifts include (5) 10hr M-F, and (1) 8hr Sat.

7a start time

All shifts are mandatory

OT included

Required Tools to be provided by Technician

ESD Safety shoe

Anti cut gloves

Cable Velcro

Scope :

Inspect and clean fiber cables

Troubleshoot / test / reterminate / repatch / clean fiber patch cables - no splicing.

Label cables on both ends

Customer to provide labeling schema

Install pre-terminated fiber cables according to client provided cabling matrix

Utilize existing pathways and overhead ladder racks / trays

Secure and organize cables

Customer provided materials : Fiber Inspection Probe, Labeler, Fiber cleaning kits
