What Youll Do :

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Maintain high visibility throughout the location, particularly in public areas, to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to the public.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points, verifying identification and authorization as required.

Report and document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific standards.

Interact professionally with the public, employees, and / or contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a courteous and approachable manner.

Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential security-related threats or emergencies in accordance with established protocols for government locations.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
