Summary :
The Contract HR Generalist will support the daily operations of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and leave administration. This temporary role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can adapt quickly, provide hands-on support, and partner effectively with both management and employees.
Responsibilities :
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles, including posting, interviewing, and onboarding
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns, coaching managers, and maintaining documentation
- Administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA, state-specific), ensuring compliance and timely communication
- Assist with performance management processes and partner with leadership on corrective actions
- Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal and state laws
- Support benefits enrollment, payroll coordination, and HR reporting as needed
- Collaborate on engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and HR projects
- Assist with audits and maintain confidentiality across all HR matters
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred3–5 years of progressive HR experienceWorking knowledge of employment laws and best practicesStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience with HRIS and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSalary :
Pay is commensurate with experience.
