Position Overview :

MyRegistry.com , the leading technology platform in the $400B gifting industry, is seeking a seasoned and visionary Senior Social Media & AI Video Content Strategist to lead the next evolution of our digital presence. This high-impact role will combine advanced social media strategy with innovative AI-powered video content creation to shape the brand narrative, drive engagement, and accelerate growth across platforms.

As a senior member of the marketing team, you will own and execute a comprehensive content strategy across social channels, while spearheading the integration of cutting-edge AI video tools to produce scalable, high-quality multimedia content. This is a unique opportunity for a senior digital content leader to push creative boundaries and redefine how we engage with audiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy for social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter / X), aligning with brand goals, campaign initiatives, and audience growth objectives.
  • Drive innovation in content creation through the use of advanced AI tools, setting the vision and roadmap for AI-generated video and automated content workflows.
  • Provide strategic direction for content calendars, platform-specific storytelling, and social engagement, ensuring alignment with overarching brand and marketing strategies.

AI-Driven Video Content Creation

  • Lead the design, creation, and deployment of AI-generated video content using tools such as Google Flo, Runway, and emerging AI platforms for marketing campaigns, product showcases, tutorials, and social engagement.
  • Develop scalable, automated video production processes that increase output while maintaining quality and brand integrity.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging AI video technologies (e.g., Stable Diffusion, MidJourney, Sora) to maintain a competitive edge in content innovation.

    • Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs across all social platforms, providing deep insights and strategic recommendations to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage platform algorithms, trends, and best practices to inform video and content optimization strategies, maximizing engagement and ROI.

    • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging, branding, and storytelling across all content and channels.
  • Lead ideation sessions and campaign planning with internal stakeholders to integrate AI-driven content into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Champion the role of social media and AI-powered content in the customer journey, from awareness to conversion.

    • Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital content production, or creative marketing—preferably in tech, e-commerce, or startup environments.
  • Proven track record in AI-driven video creation using tools like Google Flo, Runway, and other generative AI platforms.
  • Expertise in social media content strategy, performance marketing, and audience development across all major platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in video editing and motion design (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of social metrics, algorithmic trends, and data-driven optimization.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
  • A forward-thinking, creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, innovation, and emerging technologies.

    • Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with AI creative tools such as Stable Diffusion, MidJourney, Sora, or similar.
  • Deep knowledge of social media algorithms, paid media best practices, and content performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in analytics and content management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
  • Background in consumer tech, e-commerce, or high-growth digital environments.
