Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with ED competency and a WI or compact RN license for a 13-bed ER setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department with 13 beds
  • Typical patient ratio is 1 : 1-4 in the ED
  • 12-hour variable shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation
  • Must be willing to float to other locations, including Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Stevens Point
  • No on-call or call-back requirements, with additional shifts sometimes available
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
  • Team player who is assertive, confident, and thrives in a social environment
  • RTO is limited to no more than 7 days total
  • Any colored scrubs may be worn
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Orientation hours may differ from standard contract hours
  • Travelers may be placed on call during low census with call-back pay if called in
  • References from supervisors and all certifications must be provided for consideration

  • Active WI or compact state RN license
  • Current AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
  • Competency in emergency department skills required
  • Epic EMR experience required
